HOWLING SYN Parts Ways With Drummer
August 24, 2006Canadian "gothic metallers" HOWLING SYN have parted ways with longtime drummer Éric Mireault. "Our dear friend and Patryk's [vocals, guitar, bass, synths] partner in crime for over 16 years, has decided to step away from music for a while to take care of his family," the group writes in a statement. "We have decided to carry on and we are now looking for a new drummer. So anyone interested is invited to drop us a line. We want to wish Éric the best of luck with his future projects!
"Éric will be finishing his drum parts for the third HOWLING SYN album before he quits for good. So he will have played on three HOWLING SYN albums.
"We still need some confirmation about a big Halloween show in Montréal. That should be Éric's last show with the band."
HOWLING SYN's second album, "Devilries", was released in 2004 via Escapi Music.
